The goal of the BARC Youth Theatre Program is to give every student the opportunity to participate in a true theatrical experience, no matter what their experience level may be. It is our aim to to provide a well rounded theater education for performers and crew while fostering a welcoming space for all to share their many talents while becoming an incredible, creative team and family. This program is for students entering 4th grade through to June graduates. It runs from May through August. Registration opens in March and closes at the end of April. Auditions are held in May, and rehearsals are in the evenings, Monday or Tuesday - Thursday in June, with a more extended schedule, also in the evenings, in July & August. The production is the first and second weekend in August. Our productions can only exist through fundraisers that we have throughout the year. With your help, we are able to make our students vision of the most amazing show come true! Thank you for your consideration and support!

About Ballston Area Recreation Commission - BARC Youth Theatre: BARC was established in 1952 with the goal of providing low cost recreational programs to families in the Ballston Spa School District and surrounding area, so participants & their families can participate in a variety of recreational, educational & athletic activities. This is accomplished through support from the Towns of Milton, Malta, & Ballston, and the Village of Ballston Spa, as well as support from the Ballston Spa Central School District.
