Scout Troop 279 - The Timberjacks

We need a new trailer and those things aren't cheap! We use the trailer to carry gear for some of our camping trips and for summer camp at Yawgoog Scout Reservation, RI.

About Scout Troop 279: Troop 279 was chartered on April 1, 1970. That's over 50 years of Scouting tradition and adventures. We are perfect for the Cub Scout crossing over or person new to Scouting who loves the outdoors, wants to learn new skills, and values community service. Many of our Scouts come from Cub Scout Pack 66 but we have Scouts from as far away as Ballston Spa. If you plan to reach the rank of Eagle, Troop 279 is the right place for you. As of 2020, over 73 of our Scouts have become Eagle Scouts. Come with us on a journey and become one with the Timberjack. Find us at timberjacks279.org.
