Thank you for supporting Homeward Bound Dog Rescue! We are a donation based, all volunteer organization. Your donations help us in so many ways and every penny goes to the dogs care. The dogs in our program are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. The costs of this care are always mounting. We are vetting puppies, adults and seniors. Some need the basics and some may need medical or dental procedures, or medications. Some procedures can cost many times more than the adoption donation when they are ready to go to their forever home. Please help us continue our mission to give these orphaned pups and dogs the happy healthy life we dream of for them! About Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York: Homeward Bound is a not for profit volunteer organization. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes. We take our dogs into our homes and care for them as if they were our own until they go to their forever homes. The time we spend with them helps us to learn more about them, which allows us to be able to provide applicants with an accurate assessment and the dog's individual strengths and needs.
