The Ballston Lake Fire Department is largely founded by donations from the community. The department funds items that are not covered by tax dollars including meals and uniforms for members, community sponsorships and social events. About Ballston Lake Fire Department: The Ballston Lake Fire Department is a completely volunteer organization focused on providing fire suppression and other emergency services to the residents of the Ballston Lake Fire District and surrounding communities through Mutual Aid. Our volunteers spend countless hours each month training, providing fire education and services to the community and responding to alarms at any time of the day or night.
