This campaign will raise funds for Oakwood Techniques, a performing arts instruction and programming for kids - dance, music and theater! Oakwood Techniques gives our kids a foundation for lifelong love of the arts, as well as builds participants understanding of ways to use performing arts as a form of self expression.

About Oakwood Community Center: Our mission is to bring neighbors together and build bridges among grassroots organizations in the city of Troy, New York. We do this by maintaining the historic Oakwood building as a welcoming and nourishing space. Our programming includes an after school and summer performing arts program for kids, a Saturday food pantry, free or low cost meeting and event space for neighbors and small groups; and support for individuals who want to develop programming that focuses resources in our neighborhood and would like help with space, resources or organizational development skills
