Northeast Thunder Volleyball

Northeast Thunder 16U Force team is excited to travel to Indianapolis to compete at this year’s nationals. This will require a significant investment from families and the club. The entire team is committed to working together to make sure financial resources are available for all players to make the trip and compete.

About Northeast Thunder Volleyball : The NorthEast Thunder Volleyball Club is entering its 25th year as a premier home for competitive girls’ volleyball in the Capital District, with members that include some of the top high school players in the area at the state of the art Impact Athletic Center. From the beginning, the goal of our club has been to help develop players that have a love for the game and a desire to improve their skills. Our guiding principle is for everyone to play hard and have fun while pushing yourself to get to the next level! We are also strong believers in building strong core values. That is why each of our teams participate in volunteer opportunities at a local food bank or animal adoption organization. During a typical season, about 100+ players are part of the club, with travel teams at the 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u/18u age levels. Ages 13u-18u divisions are girls teams only, 12u is co-ed. Our teams are generally very competitive at tournaments at all age levels, firmly establishing NET as one of the strongest clubs in the region. NET also offers a Junior Thunder Program to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to beginning players ages 8-12.
